DWS Xtrackers Expands Small-Cap ETF Offerings with ESG Options

DWS Xtrackers has broadened its small-cap ETF lineup, providing investors with efficient access to global and European small-cap equities. The new offerings include both traditional and ESG-compliant strategies, all at a competitive flat fee of 0.25% annually.

Small-cap companies, often hailed for their innovation and growth potential, operate in niche markets or emerging industries. The expansion introduces three new ETFs: a global small-cap fund available in distributing and accumulating variants, alongside two ESG-focused strategies targeting global and European small caps.

The MSCI World Small Cap Index underpins three of the four new share classes, encompassing approximately 4,000 stocks from 23 developed markets. This index captures about 14% of the global free-float market capitalization—a substantial segment excluded from the standard MSCI World Index.
